I'm not a big fan of Disney's California Adventure, but Soarin' Over California was one of the few original attractions there that was really done RIGHT. The visuals are stunning, the ride system is perfect and relaxing...and don't get me started on the music.Too late.As evidenced by the fact that I've spent hours refining, memorizing, and practicing my arrangement of Jerry Goldsmith's jaw-dropping score for the attraction, I definitely enjoy the music. It uses a full orchestra with a little bit of synths for flavor, and the bulk of it consists of alternation between a majestic fanfare and variations on a peaceful theme that literally soars. All the changes perfectly compliment what's happening on the screen and leave us no option except to sit back, relax, and be swept away by the amazingness.Anyway, this is indeed my arrangement from start to finish, and I'd certainly appreciate tips on how to improve it. Enjoy, rate, and comment, please! Emphasis on the first one. =DOh, and do note that while nothing happens on the screen from 0:30 to 3:30, the first 30 seconds and the last minute do feature changes on the screen, so feel free to watch those instead of letting the music play in the background while you do something else. :)I hold copyrights to the photograph of Granite Peak, as well as the digital paintings of the clouds near the beginning. The blue screen was also created by me. |

| Your so welcome. I miss this ride. I've only been on this ride twice. The lines are soooooo long, but for the second time, i waited only 30 minutes with my friends. It was well worth it, because my friend had never been to epcot before and she had an absolute blast in the front center section. Thanks for the memories. |
